Requirements
- Strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills
- 5 + years’ experience as maintenance and/or service mechanic
- Experience in performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of power generation equipment and/or diesel engine experience.
- Intermediate computer literacy
- A valid driver license
Responsibilities
- Make service calls to our customers and keep both customers and dispatchers informed of progress on jobs.
- Process paperwork and maintain housekeeping in service truck and at customer property.
- Provide mechanical and electrical repairs of power generation systems.
- Effectively diagnose, repair, adjust and recondition diesel, natural gas and liquid propane engine driven generator sets.
- Performing scheduled service and troubleshooting tasks on customer generators.
- Taking necessary action to prevent or limit failure to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain truck inventory.
- Ensuring scheduled service activities are performed correctly and on time
- Identifying potential problems ahead of time and be proactive implementing solutions.
