About The Position

Performs inspection of products received from approved suppliers using a variety of measuring devices and an approved sampling plan. Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and specifications to verify conformance of arriving, in-process, and completed products. Raises notifications of non-conformances, quarantines non-conforming product and, when approved to do so, provides disposition. Assists with the coordination of non-conforming product control activities. Performs reviews and assessments of area/program performance. Identifies and addresses when a need for improvement is identified. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect. Reports directly to, and supports other duties where delegated by, the Repair Station Quality Manager. Test and validate performance for oxygen producing product Analyze and validate product paperwork compliance

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Eligible for an FAA Repairmen Certification per 14 CFR Part 65.
  • Must be detail oriented with good communication skills.
  • Product inspection experience or technical background is preferred.
  • Chemical testing background
  • SAP understanding
