The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a pivotal role responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. The primary objective of this position is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities, ensuring that the integration of functions meets organizational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems and projects through thorough evaluation and innovative solutions. In this position, the analyst will partner with multiple management teams to identify and define necessary system enhancements that will facilitate the deployment of new products and process improvements. The role demands expertise in applications programming, ensuring that application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. The analyst will develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation, while also providing comprehensive knowledge of how various business areas, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to achieve business objectives. The analyst will serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary and demonstrating leadership and project management skills. A critical aspect of this role is to assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and maintaining the firm's reputation by applying sound ethical judgment in all business practices. This position is integral to the success of the Cloud Engineering team, which is focused on implementing generative AI and cloud solutions within Functions Technology, contributing to a variety of technology initiatives.
