About The Position

The Generation’s Ministry administrative assistant will serve the church by assisting the Generations team in administrative support, planning, developing, coordinating, and administering events. The Generation’s Ministries include Kidsplace (KP) through College Ministry. This position will serve the full Generations team with administrative support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Related work experience a plus.
  • 2 yrs exp. serving in a major leadership role within a local church youth ministry or similar ministry.
  • Must be a member of Trinity Church or willing to become am attending member.

Responsibilities

  • Church database superuser.
  • Go-to person for all Planning Center info: (rosters, guests, touch points, updates, birthdays
  • Assist in planning and organizing large-scale events for the Generation Teams (KidCon, Generations Weekend, Student Conference, Fall Festivals, Retreat, Camp, etc)
  • Organize and maintain supplies for Gen Team
  • Service order scheduling through Planning Center
  • Weekly shopping, ordering, catering, and requesting vendors for all Generation Ministries
  • Input registration cards for all new kids, students, and families
  • Generate and push out Gen Min emails for parents, volunteers, new guests, training, etc. as needed
  • Complete monthly background check audit for all Generation volunteers
  • Primary contact for communication between other departments (e.g., Marketing, Trinity Life, AVL, Worship, etc.)
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events (registration set up, background checks for volunteers, liability forms, Espace requests, shopping, set up, etc.) Examples: Camp, Conferences, Child dedications, etc.
  • Receipts/invoice processing for all Gen Team
  • Record weekly attendance numbers for all Gen Min and submit a report to Executive Pastor of Strategic Operations
  • Switchboard relief when needed
