About The Position

The Generation Operations Specialist at Holy Cross Energy is responsible for managing and coordinating the operation of contracted generation resources, including solar, wind, hydropower, and battery storage power plants. This role serves as the primary contact between contracted power plant owners and Holy Cross Energy, addressing issues related to generation assets and providing oversight for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) compliance and accounting. The specialist will also support PPA origination and the development of new power plants, ensuring effective coordination of resource commissioning, design, and development tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in electric power, business, engineering, or a closely related field.
• Preference for direct experience working with bulk electric system generation resources.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the operation of contracted generation resources including solar, wind, hydropower, and battery storage power plants.
• Serve as the point of contact between contracted power plant owners and Holy Cross Energy for issues related to generation assets.
• Provide oversight for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) compliance and accounting related to contracted generation.
• Support PPA origination and new power plant development.
• Coordinate new resource commissioning, design, and development tracking.

Benefits

• Starting annual salary between $110,043 and $137,554 depending on experience.
