About The Position

The Generated Gases Maintenance Planner at Air Products is responsible for leading maintenance activities and outages at small plants producing nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and other bulk gases. This role involves developing work scopes, estimating costs, and ensuring safety and efficiency in maintenance operations. The planner collaborates with various stakeholders to track progress, enforce materials management practices, and maintain communication between operations and maintenance teams. This position is critical for ensuring the reliability and performance of the company's assets during turnarounds and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organized and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of standards outlined by Air Products and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business software, including SAP and Primavera P6.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Availability to take calls after hours and weekends for emergency coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance activities and outages at small gas production plants.
  • Develop work scopes and estimate costs related to labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with site personnel, contracted crafts, equipment suppliers, and engineering teams.
  • Track and provide updates on maintenance schedules and projected delivery times of parts.
  • Enforce disciplined Materials Management practices for accurate inventory management.
  • Drive safety in execution activities and assign responsibilities for safety programs.
  • Maintain communication between operations and maintenance technicians to prioritize jobs.
  • Assist in scheduling maintenance and operations resources for capital projects.
  • Track PM compliance and drive the team to meet compliance goals of 100%.
  • Generate M5 notifications and maintain accurate outage worklists.
