Atlantic Tire Distributors has openings for General Warehouse Workers STARTING PAY $18.00/hour We are seeking General Warehouse Workers to join our amazing Atlantic Tire Distributors team in Charlotte, NC. Summary: Manually move freight, stock, or other materials, perform other general labor, as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. Shifts Available: 8:00pm - 5:00am, Monday-Friday

Nice To Haves

• High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating a forklift is also preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
• Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damages shipments.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Maintaining warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
• Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.
