Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to work the 1st shift work schedule: currently Monday through Friday 6:30AM to 3:00PM.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse.
• Performs an array of functions that include verifying quantity, quality, and labeling of outgoing goods per customer order.
• Ensures that all customer orders have shipping labels and are packed to customer specs.
• Processes returned merchandise promptly and accurately, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Inspects returned items for damages, missing parts, and other defects, documenting any issues appropriately.
• Determines the appropriate disposition of returned items, such as restocking, repairing, or disposing of them.
• Updates inventory records to reflect returned items and their status.
• Collaborates with other warehouse team members to ensure timely processing of returns and minimize inventory discrepancies.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety cleanliness standards.
• Communicates and coordinates with other departments, such as customer service and quality control, to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
• Follows all company policies and procedures related to returns, inventory management, and safety.
• Assists with other warehouse tasks as needed, including receiving and processing stock, picking and packing orders, and conducting inventory checks.
• Works independently and in a team environment, willing to help in other departments and work overtime when necessary.
• Consistently works scheduled shifts and is on time in order to comply with company attendance policy.
• Reports any unsafe work conditions that might occur.
• Performs other duties as required.
