About the position

The General Warehouse Associate position at HomeGoods involves working in a dynamic distribution center environment where associates play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring products are efficiently processed for retail stores. Responsibilities

• Count, select, and sort objects such as totes, boxes, merchandise, or other items as assigned.
• Match receipts against purchase orders.
• Ticket merchandise or other items with gum labels, ticketing gun, or pin tickets.
• Pack or unpack merchandise.
• Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed.
• Manual material handling of objects such as totes, boxes, garments, or other items up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 60 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
