Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role ensures inventory is handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Must be able to read and speak in English.

Able to follow directions and communicate with others.
Must be able to perform basic math functions.
Must be physically and mentally able to work required shift, main function will be unloading floor loaded containers onto pallets with given TI-HI instructions, maintain a clean work area, work with production on labeling and packing when needed.
Lifts items up to 50lbs or team lift if more than 75lbs.
Hand wrap pallets with a provided film roll so that they don’t fall when unloaded from the container by the forklift driver.
Must be able to constantly recognize product types and sizes according to provided picklist while unloading containers and report any shortages or damages to lead person.
Constantly required to identify color coded safety & warning areas/notices (most colored yellow and red and some in small print) to maintain a safe work environment.
Constantly works in an environment that includes seasonal heat & cold; exposure to safety areas with moving equipment; dust/dirt; noise; vibrations from equipment; lighting differences; and occasional fumes.
Must be able to identify and react to potential hazards.
Must be able to do basic math functions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instruction and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
Ability to write and communicate in complex sentences using good vocabulary.

Responsibilities

Responsible for matching packing slips with purchase orders and receiving them into the computer.
Work in production areas (hand pack, bagging, etc.)
Properly tag/label received goods.
Process daily assignments accurately and timely.
Meet and maintain production and quality standards.
Sweep floors and maintain a tidy work area.
Adhere to all company work rules.
Adhere to all safety rules and practices.
Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
Other duties as assigned such as unloading containers or working in other departments.
