Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role ensures inventory is handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be able to read and speak in English.
  • Good work ethic and planning skills.
  • Able to follow directions and communicate with others.
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to work required shift, main function will be unloading floor loaded containers onto pallets with given TI-HI instructions, maintain a clean work area, work with production on labeling and packing when needed.
  • Lifts items up to 50lbs or team lift if more than 75lbs.
  • Hand wrap pallets with a provided film roll so that they don’t fall when unloaded from the container by the forklift driver.
  • Must be able to constantly recognize product types and sizes according to provided picklist while unloading containers and report any shortages or damages to lead person.
  • Constantly required to identify color coded safety & warning areas/notices (most colored yellow and red and some in small print) to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Constantly works in an environment that includes seasonal heat & cold; exposure to safety areas with moving equipment; dust/dirt; noise; vibrations from equipment; lighting differences; and occasional fumes.
  • Must be able to identify and react to potential hazards.
  • Must be able to do basic math functions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instruction and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
  • Ability to write and communicate in complex sentences using good vocabulary.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for matching packing slips with purchase orders and receiving them into the computer.
  • Work in production areas (hand pack, bagging, etc.)
  • Properly tag/label received goods.
  • Process daily assignments accurately and timely.
  • Meet and maintain production and quality standards.
  • Sweep floors and maintain a tidy work area.
  • Adhere to all company work rules.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and practices.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Other duties as assigned such as unloading containers or working in other departments.
