About The Position
The main function of this position is to keep the west portion of the plant area, under and around the holding tanks, clean and presentable.
Requirements
- A person must be able to recognize work needing to be done and work with very little supervision to accomplish end results.
- Must be a team player.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures.
- Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
- Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- To sweep the area under and around the storage bins, shovel up all products on the ground area, and discard them properly.
- To wash down area as directed; to work in other areas as needed; to wear personal protection equipment; to work safely.
- Any other duties assigned by manager.
