About The Position

Under general supervision, this position provides support for the mushroom growing process in several situations and job tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to follow directions and to work independently.
• Ability to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, climbing, walking and carrying.
• The ability to keep and transport equipment from one task to another.

Responsibilities

• General Utility performs any/all of the following tasks: covering mushroom beds with plastic, sweeping up excess materials, washing down floors, breezeways, equipment, wharfs and buildings, changing flypaper and filters, installing or removing lighting, installing or removing door plastic, cleaning beds, removing bubble, covering green mold and probing beds. Mixing and making all specialty bags. Moving and removing bags and/or logs. Opening bags. Watering on logs.
