About The Position

Position is responsible for cleaning of University parking garage facilities, to include housekeeping responsibilities, power washing, operation of sweepers/scrubbers and other equipment associated with surface cleaning, waste collection and loose trash pickup, and other special assignments including assisting with campus move requests. Some grounds maintenance responsibilities will be attached to this position according to departmental needs. Snow removal in an assigned area will be the responsibility of this position.

Requirements

• Some knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work
• Equivalent combination of training and experience
• Special certification may be required for some of these positions

• Cleaning experience in an industrial setting
• Microfiber and green cleaning experience
• Ability to work within team and individual settings
