About The Position

General Utility/ Supply Clerk will assist in receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies in the supply department.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist purchasing staff with procurement of materials and supplies for the entire JRD facility as required.
• Prepare and perform data entry as needed for general purchases in purchasing system.
• Travel to local vendors to pick up materials and supplies daily as required for all departments.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties within the supply room areas.
• Assist in periodic inventory of supply room typical stocked items.
• Maintain and organize supply room inventory items.
• Receive and offload a multitude of parts and materials from incoming truck shipments.
• Routinely utilize forklift to transport materials.
• All above functions are performed daily in general or at irregular intervals as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Inventory for supply room.
• Inventory control.
• Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
• To perform sanitation duties, to wear all PPE, and work safely.
