General Utility Receiving Techs are critical to success at FritoLay! Although you will start with FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing: Unloading and loading new and used cartons, incoming raw materials, plant supplies, and plant equipment. Analyze production schedule and provide cartons as needed for production and monitor inventory levels to ensure no outages. Provide seasoning samples to QA for testing. Maintain department at AIB levels at all times. Coordinate activities with processing, packaging, and maintenance to ensure materials are available for use and that materials meet Frito- Lay specifications. Operate heavy equipment including stand up forklifts, sit down forklifts, and the ACS (Automated Carton Sorter). Execute weekly inventory with 100% accuracy. We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule. As a General Utility Tech, weekends or holidays may be required. It's a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet the entirety of your shift. General Utility Techs are expected to stay on the line until relieved for break. We're seeking individuals who are flexible, committed, and safety-focused.
