About The Position

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures of a technical level consistent with optimal image quality. Performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgement and initiative Position Purpose: Sonographer performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality. Performs US imaging to support Inpatient units and the Emergency department. Must be able to work independently and efficiently to manage Emergency Department workflow.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of a Ultrasound program,
Licensure/Certification: Registered as a Sonographer by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).
Experience: Prior experience as a Sonographer highly preferred.
Effective Communication Skills
Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.
Possesses a high level of professionalism and the ability to establish good rapport with patients, staff, and physicians.
Current BLS Certification is required.
