About The Position
General Trades Laborer at Shiel Sexton: The General Trades Laborer works as a member of a diverse crew performing a variety of interior and exterior construction responsibilities including light framing, hardware, and accessory installation, hanging doors, demolition, and other general construction duties. This is an entry level position; we are willing to train motivated individuals! Role Expectations and Competencies: Working with tape measure, hand tools, bubble and laser levels, power tools, and various other construction equipment to tear down, remodel, build and renovate. Readiness to learn and grow your construction skills from industry leading professionals while maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethics. Able to be on time and present every day for work.
Requirements
- Eagerness to learn and grow skills in the general construction field.
- Must be safety minded and comfortable working with scaffold systems, shoring, weather protection and installation of fall protection systems.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to submit to a background check and drug screening.

- No experience necessary, but preferred.
