About The Position

Tufts Medical Center Community Care is seeking an outstanding board certified/board eligible General Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team at our General Surgery practice in Wakefield, MA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in both elective and emergency settings, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing, operating, and managing recovery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, anesthesiologists, and specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes, working in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent manual dexterity and leadership skills. Bariatrics and robotics skills would be a plus but are not required. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity and academic rank. Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
  • A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient satisfaction and support
  • Current medical license or ability to obtain one in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Bariatrics and/or Robotics is a plus
