Riverside Medical Group is expanding its specialty care network and is actively seeking a dedicated Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgery Physician to join our esteemed Surgery team in Onancock, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative and highly skilled surgical team committed to delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by an approved medical board.
• Current DEA registration.
• Strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Experience with managed care and Medicare populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care to patients in a variety of surgical specialties.
• Perform anti-reflux surgery, breast and colon surgery, hepatic, pancreatic, and cancer surgery.
• Conduct appendectomy and gallbladder removal, hernia and melanoma surgery.
• Execute pilonidal cystectomy, rectal/hemorrhoid surgery, skin lesion removal, and wound care.
• Perform parathyroid and thyroid surgery, vascular access procedures, and surgical oncology.
• Conduct GI endoscopic procedures.
