About The Position

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Physician Assistant to join our established elective general surgery team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Conduct physical exams and medical history of patients, including pre-operative evaluations and post operative follow-ups. Assist surgeons during surgical procedures in the OR Manage post operative care including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and addressing any complications or patient concerns Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication throughout the process Other duties as required

Requirements

• For Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required.

• Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required.
