Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a conscientious, compassionate and skilled Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a growing general surgery practice of 7 physicians and 1 APP in Winston-Salem, NC. This position would provide clinical care for patients in both the ambulatory and acute settings. The ideal candidate is patient-centric, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and respectful of all team members. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a care team approach, educating patients and is committed to the health and wellness of not only our patients but the communities from which they come. Our team supports each other and welcomes personal and professional growth. Experience in surgical assisting desired. Call is every 5th weekend - no night or weekday call required. RNFA certification required for NP's. Our expert surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants work collaboratively to provide remarkable care to our operative and non-operative patients. The selected APP will be responsible for performing a variety of functions under the supervision of our surgeons. These functions, though not all-inclusive, include: Seeing patients in the clinic setting, Performing office procedures, Surgical assisting in the operating room, Rounding at our acute facilities.
