About The Position

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our growing healthcare team. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited general surgery residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Active or eligible for unrestricted Montana medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures including endoscopy, laparoscopy, and basic trauma care.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, medical providers, and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and safety.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies, including documentation and coding.
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care plans.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
