Practice Highlights Join a well-established, multi-physician general surgery group Opportunity to build a busy elective surgical practice Access to both Northside Hospital Duluth and Northside Hospital Gwinnett Robotic surgery platforms available at both campuses Outpatient surgery center located on the Gwinnett campus No responsibility for trauma or breast surgery call Location: Northside Hospital Duluth & Northside Hospital Gwinnett Group: General Surgeons of Gwinnett Surgical ScopePractice includes bread-and-butter general surgery with Preferred clinical interests in Endocrine surgery (thyroid/parathyroid) and/or Foregut surgery a plus. The hospital added a new patient tower and medical office building, part of a multi-hundred-million-dollar investment designed to significantly expand clinical capacity and services. The new tower will add hundreds of additional inpatient beds, bringing total hospital capacity to approximately 700+ beds, making it the largest hospital within the Northside system. Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Laparoscopic training & Robotic surgery experience required
  • Have an active GA medical license or the ability to obtain one.
  • MD/DO

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred clinical interests in Endocrine surgery (thyroid/parathyroid) and/or Foregut surgery a plus.
  • Experienced surgeons preferred
  • Strong interest in building a long-term practice are also welcome.
