About The Position

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an experienced General Surgeon to join a well-established, community-based surgical program serving patients at Rochester General Hospital and Unity Hospital. The Opportunity Clinical Practice Maintain a busy, well-supported general surgery practice covering inpatient, outpatient, elective, urgent, and emergent cases. Provide general surgery consultative services, including Emergency Department coverage. Participate in a 1:4 call rotation with clear expectations and reliable support. Work within streamlined clinical operations that allow you to focus on patient care. Serve as one with fellow surgeons, APPs, and care teams, contributing to a collaborative and respectful clinical environment. Program & Team Support Practice within a system that cares like family, offering strong OR resources, dedicated surgical teams, and robust ancillary support. Contribute to a culture that values shared accountability, open communication, and mutual respect. Offer informal guidance and collaboration that supports team growth and high-quality care delivery. What We’re Looking For MD or DO, Board Certified in General Surgery. Minimum of 3 years of independent General Surgery practice experience (required). Eligible for New York State medical licensure. Broad general surgery skill set aligned with community-based practice. Professional, team-oriented approach grounded in respect and collaboration. Requirements

  • MD or DO, Board Certified in General Surgery.
  • Minimum of 3 years of independent General Surgery practice experience (required).
