General Superintendent - El Paso TX

About the position

MGC Contractors, Inc. is a 100% Employee Owned Corporation. We specialize in all forms of water and wastewater general contracting including Job Order Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk, Design-Bid-Build, and Design-Build throughout Arizona, Texas, Utah, and New Mexico. MGC Contractors, Inc is looking for a General Superintendent for our Texas Division in the El Paso area. Paid relocation assistance is available for a qualified candidate.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Project Contract status reports.
• Coordinate with the team in development of project site logistics plan.
• Coordinate and Assist with scheduling of project site logistics plan.
• Coordinate with the team in development and thorough updates of the project schedule.
• Coordinate with the team on the pay request process.
• Monitor project costs and job cost reports.
• Analyze and forecast total cost projection reports.
• Implement and monitor safety all on site staff personnel.
• Monitor project labor.
• Review and approve material and equipment needs.
• Any and all other duties assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least ten (10) years of experience as a superintendent required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Multi-functional water/wastewater projects is preferred.
