About The Position

The General Shop Supervisor is responsible for assisting production activities that require a broad knowledge of various processes, operations, and machines. This role includes ensuring that training is conducted for new employees and providing assistance to employees with questions regarding work standards. The supervisor will oversee and monitor production to ensure quality, performing verifications and inspections of products and machines. Additionally, the supervisor will assist in minor troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment when necessary and is responsible for documenting all department functions. Other job duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Able to lift, push, and pull carts and products within legal standards.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Exhibit good judgment and personal as well as professional integrity.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Possess good communication and hands-on skills.
