About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Shop Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting daily operations within a busy factory environment, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth production processes. The ideal candidate will have some factory or warehouse experience and possess mechanical aptitude, with the ability to operate hand and power tools safely. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing and assembly while contributing to a dynamic team.

Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification is a plus
• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and use of hand tools and power tools
• Warehouse experience, including material handling and inventory management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly of products on the manufacturing line, ensuring quality standards are met
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods
• Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, maintenance, and setup tasks
• Support the loading and unloading of materials within the manufacturing facility
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of equipment and materials
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
