About The Position

The General Services Specialist II assists in the daily operations of general services functions, including facilities support, vendor coordination, and administrative logistics. This role ensures that bank facilities and services are efficiently maintained and supports the needs of internal departments and service vendors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 3+ years of experience in general services, administrative operations, or facilities support.
  • Strong team coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of facilities operations, vendor management, and general procurement processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office systems (e.g., ticketing software, work order systems).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Service Channel a plus.
  • Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the General Services staff.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for building maintenance, cleaning services, and facility upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on service performance, vendor activities, equipment maintenance, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with bank safety, security, and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between general services and other bank departments, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage office moves, renovations, and setup for meetings or special events.
  • Report operational issues, budgetary needs, or service disruptions to the General Services Manager or Operations Head.
  • Handle the onboarding and offboarding of service providers using internal vendor management system.
  • Process invoices, check for accuracy, and resolve any issues with service providers.
  • Conduct periodic surveys and inspections of various branch/back-office locations in local area to ensure operational standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks assigned by the General Services Manager or Head of Operations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
