About The Position

The General Service Worker #15 at Bates Kitchen is an entry-level position focused on providing high-quality service in food preparation and delivery. Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to use chemicals required in daily cleaning.
• Basic knife skills are required.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to customers at all times.
• Communicate and interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Load and unload the dishmachine and transfer clean dishware to designated areas.
• Wash pots and pans and remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Assist with special events and perform prep work, including preparation of fruits and vegetables.
• Set up the serving line and finish hot food placement.
• Be responsible for dessert and bread service.
• Participate in other duties as assigned by the manager or cook on duty.
• Comply with all state and local food service regulations, including practicing ServSafe and NSF standards.
