About The Position

Job Summary: Is responsible for all repairs and maintenance within assigned stores in addition to holding a Gilbarco certification. Works with TSM to identify areas of opportunity within the assigned stores. Maintains all equipment in assigned locations by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining daily. Provide preventative maintenance and tests leaks and product lines throughout location. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for all maintenance in assigned stores and utilizes third party vendors only when necessary and when TSM approves the outside vendor repair. 2. Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline-related equipment; provides preventive maintenance; tests leak detectors and product lines. 3. Provide first response on all work orders including but not limited to; plumbing/drain clearing, food equipment, technical systems, electrical systems, building interior/exterior and beyond. 4. Facilitate repairs by purchasing from service vendors for proper supplies/materials. 5. Perform preventative maintenance on fuel systems and may include dispenser calibration 6. Perform advanced fuel system repairs based on Texas Business Unit needs 7. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 8. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs. 9. Maintains working climate by installing, repairing and servicing heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. 10. Keeps equipment, systems and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring and repairing faulty or inoperative HVAC systems and associated equipment; repairing and replacing doors, plumbing and tiles; painting; recommending changes and new HVAC installations. 11. Maintains gas pumps by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, and filters and display boards. 12. Ensures operation of equipment by diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment such as walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators and fountains. 13. Responsible for financial R&M spending within assigned group of stores. 14. Responsible for maintaining timely records and updates in the systems. 15. Responsible for maintaining the required fuel repair license and training. 16. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 17. Responsible for communicating with the Store Manager and District Manager as needed. 18. Identifies self-growth opportunities and creates plans with direct supervisor to advance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently in a high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
