About The Position

The General Service Manager (Construction) will be responsible for supporting branch management and service operations with technical, standardized processes, and technician development and evaluation with focus on production. In addition this position will be responsible for assisting management in maintaining consistency through service operations across the state.

Requirements

  • 4 Year college degree, in Business, Marketing, Agriculture or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment products and applications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Intermediate level Excel, Access and Word.
  • Overnight Travel – Low 7-12 days per month.
  • Must have experience in effectively managing a cost center or department

Responsibilities

  • Manage assets and service tooling.
  • Provide leadership in support all corporate safety initiatives.
  • Management of all Standard Jobs
  • Maintaining and creation of job Standards
  • Provide decisions on critical issues that will affect performance and profitability of Standards
  • Responsible for management and usage of all Standard Jobs
  • Responsible for maintaining and creation of job Standards
  • Provide decisions on critical issues that will affect performance and profitability of Standards
  • Responsible for on-going strategic planning for training and developing technicians at all branches and cost centers.
  • Responsible for working with training department to develop curriculum for all level of service technicians.
  • Provide overarching management of current technician evaluation program
  • Responsible for ensuring evaluation program is achieving the goals of the branch or cost center.
