About The Position

We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform lube and maintenance on all cars Mount and Balance Tires Perform Digital courtesy inspections Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guest's vehicle Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization

Requirements

  • Honesty, Integrity and Passion in the work that you do
  • Current driver’s licenses
  • Beginner assortment of tools and small roll cart
  • Must be State Inspector Certified, or able to receive your inspectors license within 45 days of employment.
  • Experience - we are looking for a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the automotive industry.
  • A good overall fit. What do we mean? We are a strong team that gets along with each other very well. We are looking for someone that has a great attitude, is willing to grow with us and we can enjoy working with.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
