About The Position

The General Service Electrician (GSE)-1 position is for a first-class industrial electrician with five years of experience in the oil, chemical, or petrochemical industries. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing substation switchgear, PLCs, motors, and lights, as well as bending and installing conduits for circuits and controls. The electrician will be responsible for pulling wire and connecting circuits, reading and interpreting ladder logic and schematic drawings (primary and secondary single line drawings), and working with diagnostic and test equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and meggers.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in the oil, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
• Completion of a trades school curriculum or apprentice/journeyman qualification program.
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Pass a post-offer pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman certification preferred.
