About The Position

The General Service Electrician (GSE)-1 position is for a first-class industrial electrician with five years of experience in the oil, chemical, or petrochemical industries. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing substation switchgear, PLCs, motors, and lights. Responsibilities also include bending and installing conduits for circuits and controls, pulling wire and connecting circuits, and reading and interpreting ladder logic and schematic drawings (both primary and secondary single line drawings). The electrician will work with diagnostic and test equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and megger.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in the oil, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
• Completion of a trades school curriculum or apprentice/journeyman qualification program.
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Pass a post-offer pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman certification preferred.
