About The Position

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Auto Tech – General Service to join their team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with cars and eager to learn automotive technician skills. The work schedule is Sunday-Thursday, day shift, and it is an onsite position with no remote option.

Requirements

  • Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
  • The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

  • A high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance.
  • Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
  • Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush and vehicle inspection.
  • Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement.
  • Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
  • Comply with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash.
  • Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts needed.
