This is a senior leadership role with real authority: you'll oversee 2 Sales Managers, own new and used sales performance, drive F&I results, and report directly to the GM. Requirements

  • Current or recent GSM experience — OR a high-performing Sales Manager who has been directly overseeing other managers and is ready for the next level
  • Proven ability to develop Sales Managers, not just manage them — you build people up, not just hold them accountable
  • Deep fluency across variable ops and F&I — you understand how new, used, and finance work together to drive total store performance
  • Experience running 50+ units per month at a luxury or high-volume dealership
  • Strong command of CRM tools, desking software, and data-driven performance management
  • Instincts for the luxury customer — you know what a Mercedes-Benz buyer expects before they walk through the door
  • The kind of leadership presence and emotional intelligence that raises the standard just by being in the room

Responsibilities

  • New and used vehicle sales — full P&L ownership across both departments, 50–80 units per month
  • F&I performance — partnering with your F&I team to maximize per-unit profitability while protecting the customer experience
  • 2 Sales Managers — developing, coaching, and holding them accountable to both performance metrics and culture standards
  • Inventory strategy — collaborating with the GM on stocking levels, turn rates, and new vs. used mix
  • Sales process integrity — ensuring consistency, compliance, and a hospitality-first experience on every deal
  • Market intelligence — staying ahead of luxury trends, competitor activity, and buyer behavior in the Silicon Valley market
