About The Position

We are a high-volume, growth-oriented Multi Ford dealership group seeking an experienced General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead and elevate our sales operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving new and used vehicle performance, developing a strong sales team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or Sales Director in an automotive dealership
  • Track record of achieving high sales volume and profitability
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Deep understanding of desking, inventory management, and automotive retail analytics
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Ford dealership experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of new and used vehicle sales operations
  • Drive sales volume, gross profit, and market share while maintaining compliance
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Sales Managers and Sales Consultants
  • Establish and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with Finance, Service, and Fixed Ops to optimize dealership performance
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and CSI performance
  • Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies, and desking processes
  • DMS R&R
  • Maintain strong relationships with Ford representatives and adhere to OEM standards
