About The Position

General Radiologist Department of Radiology Longwood Specialty Physicians (LSP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) BID-Needham, BID-Milton and BID-Plymouth The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking a qualified Radiologist for per diem to join its collegial and dedicated team in the Community Radiology Section. As a member of the Community Radiology Section, the candidate will join a department of more than eighty faculty who serve the Medical Center’s main campus and a network of community hospitals and outpatient locations including BID-Needham, BID-Milton and BID-Plymouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general radiology. Fellowship training in body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, breast imaging, neuroradiology, or interventional radiology is preferred. The department will be engaged in the newly announced and exciting clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer. Requirements

  • Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or board-eligible
  • Licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of MA

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, breast imaging, neuroradiology, or interventional radiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Comfortable with reading all modalities (mammography a plus but not necessary)
  • Ability to perform light procedures
  • Excellent communications skills a must
