About The Position

The General Purchasing Internship at LG Energy Solution is designed for students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Data Analytics. This full-time summer internship will provide hands-on experience in procurement operations, supplier relations, and purchasing processes within the electric vehicle industry.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Data Analytics - Junior or Senior standing
• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new tasks and projects
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for goods and services to support operational needs
• Support the creation and issuance of purchase orders (POs) under supervision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Help track purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to review service contracts and vendor agreements
• Participate in maintaining purchasing records, including vendor registrations and monthly purchase history reports
• Support internal teams by coordinating purchasing requests and tracking progress
