Talbott Recovery Atlanta specializes in dual diagnosis treatment, addressing addiction along with any coexisting depression, anxiety, unresolved grief, trauma and more. Research has shown that this method of addressing the whole patient provides the best possible chance of lasting recovery. Position Overview: Employment Type: Full-time Staff General Psychiatrist for IOP/PHP Schedule / Hours: On-site, Monday-Friday (flexible start and end times) Call: Shared after-hour telephonic call Patient Volume: negotiable, will vary (ages 18 and older) Location: Atlanta, GA (Southwest Atlanta near airport) Practice Setting: Intensive Outpatient and Partial Day Programs (IOP/PHP) Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists EMR / Technology: Tier
Requirements
- Board Certified in General Psychiatry with experience and comfort treating dual-diagnosis populations
- Active or eligible GA license
- Active DEA
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial psychiatric evaluations
- Managing detox protocols and medication-assisted treatment
- Providing ongoing psychiatric care and psychotherapy
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team
