About The Position

This position is assigned to a high school, whose primary function is to assist in the development of students' career and personal transition plans into the work world, and/or to their supplementary training and education for their chosen career pathways.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
  • One (1) year of responsible professional work experience requiring a high degree of analytical skill.
  • Experience in gathering, evaluating, and analyzing facts and information to resolve problems.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports and documents.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex written material.
  • Ability to solve complex problems logically and systematically.
  • One (1) year of specialized experience in a school-to-work transition program.

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of students' career and personal transition plans.
  • Support students in their supplementary training and education for chosen career pathways.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and implement career educational activities.
  • Conduct courses to increase students' awareness of careers and post-high school education.
  • Plan and coordinate career day activities/events.
  • Determine program effectiveness and achievement of program objectives.
  • Participate in planning for future needs or related management purposes.
