About The Position

Responsibilities include assisting in assembly operations, detecting and reporting defective materials, labeling finished products, and maintaining a clean work area while adhering to safety regulations. The role requires performing repetitive assembly functions, retrieving materials for assembly, and ensuring quality control of materials used.

Responsibilities

• Gathers necessary materials and uses appropriate hand tools and machinery to support the assembly floor.
• Assists in assembly operations as directed by management.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Labels finished products to match appropriate paperwork.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations per plant policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions to appropriate supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs repetitive assembly functions using hand or power tools.
• Retrieves raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products for assembly.
• Checks the quality of material pulled for assembly.
• Places materials and parts in specified relationships to each other.
