About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The conditions will be wet, and will require appropriate foot, eye, and ear protection Temperature varies based on area assigned, between -10 to 75 degrees Must be able to bend, lift various amounts of weights. Occasionally (0-20%) over 80 lbs, regularly (21%-100%) over 40 lbs Must have good eye/hand coordination. Reaching, pulling/pushing at various times. Adaptability to various environmental factors such as: external heat, cold, high humidity, and wet floors. Aromatic spices are used Adaptability to different situations are necessary Individuals should have tolerance for extremely high noise levels, which calls for hearing protection, which is provided May require long periods of standing and/or walking on cement floors Some jobs have repetitive arm, wrist and hand movements; reaching/ lifting above shoulder level; bending, stooping and twisting All other duties as assigned by their supervisor The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
