About The Position

Safely receive, inspect, process, and transfer raw materials and finished products through various manufacturing operations (blending, liquid processing, drying, grinding, etc.). Maintain quality and safety standards, accurately complete required documentation, and support continuous improvement in a food manufacturing environment. This position will have a compensation around $18.21 - $25.58 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or a similar environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, hygienic practices, and food safety standards preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (including cold or elevated areas).
  • Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Good communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in using control panels, gauges, and basic computer systems.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Positive attitude, cooperation, and adherence to company policies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely.
  • Compliance with all company policies regarding Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Confidentiality.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification and ability to operate hoists and production tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment (e.g., blenders, dryers, grinders, liquid reactors) according to standard operating procedures.
  • Receive, inspect, and handle raw materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Accurately complete process charts, production paperwork, and data entry in ERP and workflow systems.
  • Perform cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards in all work areas.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and quality protocols, including HACCP and company-specific standards.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Lock Out/Tag Out, and safe lifting techniques.
  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, and training as required.
  • Support process improvements and share ideas for operational excellence.
  • Assist with training new team members and support cross-training as needed.
