This position is responsible for directing and training supervisors in all facets including but not limited to production paperwork yields time and attendance discipline motivation turnover absenteeism safety problem solving etc. Accountable for areas of performance safety quality workers compensation turnover bid movement Team Member morale and other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 plus years' experience in a supervisory role.
• Two years employment at Tyson or equivalent experience preferred.
• Familiarity with processing floor operation is a plus.
• HACCP certification is a plus; understanding of basic HACCP principles and ability to perform CCP monitoring verification.
• Knowledge of fresh meats processing is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Team leader with problem-solving skills and motivation to take on special projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct and train supervisors in all facets of production operations.
• Manage production paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, and safety.
• Accountable for performance areas including safety, quality, workers compensation, turnover, and Team Member morale.
• Conduct audits and inspections on the production floor.
• Oversee safety committee and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Review team members in supervisory roles and develop areas for improvement.
