The General Laborer supports daily production operations at Alma Foods by performing a variety of manual tasks in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining product quality, ensuring safe work practices, and keeping production areas clean, organized, and running efficiently. Requirements
- Perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.
- Lift/push/pull 50+lbs as required (Occasional)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods to perform job related tasks.
- Kneel/squat as necessary to complete job-related tasks.
- Grasping & pinching motions to complete job-related tasks
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in food handling/manufacturing
- High School diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Assist with production line activities, including loading, sorting, and packaging products.
- Operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools as trained.
- Monitor product quality and report any defects or concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with food safety and OSHA standards.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and plant policies.
- Support sanitation tasks such as cleaning equipment, floors, and workstations as needed.
- Perform routine material handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking products or supplies.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to maintain efficient plant operations.
