About The Position

This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing, including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration. It may involve the use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines. Requirements

• Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions
• Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments
• Be able to reach above shoulder level
• Be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces
• Able to perform repetitive motion
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas
• Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard
• All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history
• This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson
• Be willing to undergo background checks if the position requires it
