General Production Labor
About The Position
Universal Presentation Concepts (UPC) is looking to hire for full-time and part-time roles in our fabrication, packaging, CNC, printing, and studio/cabinet building departments on first and second shift at our Madison, WI facility to build new retail store fixtures for home appliances, custom cabinets, and point of purchase (POP) displays in our custom studio. This team oriented & success driven indiv idual will be involved in the day to fabrication, assembly, and packaging of displays using hand tools. Candidates most successful in this position will have a proven track record of attention to detail, highly dependable and self-motivated.
Requirements
- Proven track record of self-management, attention to detail and accuracy
- Common sense thinker who is mechanically inclined
- Strong work history
- Ability to read a tape measure & use basic hand tools
- Ability to perform record keeping using basic math skills
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for up to 7 hours per day
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing / production / assembly experience a plus, but not required- we will train!
