About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing to include the DSI, Debone, Deli lines and Evisceration.

Requirements

• Must be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments.
• Must be able to reach above shoulder level.
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs.
• Must wear PPE as required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry level non-skilled general labor tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Work in various areas of Fresh Processing including DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration.
• Push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Climb up and down stairs to access work areas.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including frocks, gloves, ear protection, hair net, and beard guard.
