About The Position

This entry-level position involves performing non-skilled general labor tasks in a safe work environment at Tyson's Hide/Tannery facility. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varying environmental conditions while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures ranging from 40 to 90 degrees.
• Must be able to stand for long periods (8-10 hours) and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks in various departments of the Hide/Tannery facility.
• Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with Tyson policies and procedures.
• Push, pull, lift, and carry at least 75 pounds as required.
• Work in extreme hot, cold, and wet environments, standing for 8-10 hours per day.
• Use hands and arms above shoulder level as needed.
• Operate large pieces of equipment and use knives and hooks to trim hides when necessary.
